​This weekend, Elizabeth City is buzzing with excitement as the Bassmaster Elite Series returns for the first time since 1981. From April 10–13, top anglers will compete on the scenic Pasquotank River and Albemarle Sound, with daily takeoffs at 7 a.m. and weigh-ins at 3 p.m. at Waterfront Park (508 S. Water Street).
