Heather Sawyer
Associate Broker
Heather Sawyer is a native of northeastern North Carolina. She attended Northeastern High School and Elizabeth City State University where she received her B.S. in Accounting. Shortly after graduation, she worked for a law firm that handled probate and estate administration as well as residential and commercial real estate transactions in North Carolina and Virginia.
Her experience in real estate law, lead her to pursue a new career in real estate sales. After gaining experience working with another real estate broker, Heather decided to open Water Street Real Estate in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
In her free time, she serves as an active board member for Girls Incorporated of the Albemarle and enjoys walking, biking, and trips to the beach with her children. Heather's deep roots in the area help serve her local sellers and provide her out-of-town buyers with great insight into the local area and real estate market.
